I have a 2002 Sportster LT with 720 engines and one of the tuned pipes needs to be replaced. The part number engraved on the pipe is 274000977, I have a pipe that came from a 2000 GTI with a 720 engine and looks identical but has a part number of 274000801 on it. Does anyone know if this pipe can be used to replace the original one or would it cause problems? I have found several used pipes that look exactly like mine for sale on ebay and have wondered if these are the same as my original or not, any education on this would be helpful.
