Transition port cleaning tool

Here is a tool I devised to aid in cleaning the transition ports (three small holes in the carb throat).
Cut a wire off a wire brush
Clamp it in a hemostat

Seems to work great, just don't be too aggressive as to enlarge the holes

That's the main problem. Those holes are a "Metered" hole, and putting something physical into it can/will damage that hole. It should be use ONLY as a last resort. (sometimes you have no choice)

I find that most of the time, going back and forth with carb cleaner and 100psi of compressed air will get them flowing again.
