timing chain

trying to get the head off 04 RXP
just changed out the flywheel bolts
and got that back together took the
bolts out of timing gear but cant get the
chain off the gear, do i have to take the side
cover back off again :cuss:?

You've gotta remove the chain tensioner (rt. side) and chain guide (left side)in order to give the chain enough slack.

but thanks for the reply this is going quite well
should have here back together buy wednesday
and painted but the weekend
