thought on this deal

hey what do you guys think 96 gts gti and spi all for 2200 with trailers?

the gti needs a wear ring and the gts needs an exhaust gasket.

any thoughts?

any ski that 'needs' anything means it actually needs a lot more.

"just needs a starter" is code for "the engine is blown, but you can't compression test it w/out a starter sucker"...

i know the guy selling them and i dont plan on keeping all of them probably only 1 of the three if at all. its more of a we want his double trailer and we are gonna turn around and just sell these skis for what it cost us. maybe keep the gts as a parts ski for my dads gts(it has new gauges fuel tank baffle and lots of other new stuff

Well now yer talkin! That sounds like enough justification for me. Parts are not cheap, especially clean one this time of year. Just have him knock a few more hundos off.

Yea that's my plan seeing as we already have a 96 gts and xp and a 03 gtx sc 4 tec..... And only my dad and I have our boaters license so we can't take all three out at once anyway lol. problem is they are all on single trailers having a double would rock. So we are trying to make a good deal and at least get that

It's so easy to get one in nj. The test and class are so simple. It shouldn't stop anyone who wants to boat from boating.

it should be super easy here too, it's just online at your own pace, and then there is a test that you only pay if you pass, and i think one place has it for free

Got all 3 skis and one single trailer and a double trailer for 2000. All three run. And both trailers are awesome quality. The single trailer rides nicer and quieter then any trailer my dad and I have ever seen, encluding campers skis boats and enclosed storage trailers. It was so smooth it was creepy. Ski looked like it was floating behind the truck even when we tried hitting bumps. 5 mile trip and not a squeak bump knock anything. The spi runs great just looks poor. Gonna sell it for 900 with one of our old trailers that we replaced the hubs and bearings on 1 month ago. So if anyone in jersey area is interested let me know. Gts runs great but again looks like shit. And the gti looks ok but needs a cylinder jug, looks like it was left out in the cold with water in it. No biggie already pulled motor out. Took less then 1 hour.
