Hey guys my uncle bout a 97spx n 97gtx While Bk. The spx is mint and like new. Never no prob. So far gtx gives us prob. First prob was pipe busted at freeze plug. Fixed that n then motor locked up later. So put new motors n did a fresh carb rebiuld and new fuel lines. Put new wear ring and took her out. Well worked great 2,times and yesterday we took it out we've done all the tweeking n all it was just done well I got in water and took off. Flew to 50mph w ease n did good drove it in checked to make sure it was cooling n not taking water in. My uncle took it out for 15 min and then I did again. I backed off trailer and when I threw Irving drive it cut off.
So we took em home. So far we put fully charged battery in. We checked all the grounds. We put a spare coil we had n we checked back fuse and the ones in ebox. Cut spark plug wires n all so guess we will pull mag cover today to look at pickup. But if not that what else to look for?
