Ok, that beeper that sounds when you connect the teather switch has to go. That drives me insane! What do you got to do to get rid of it? I like being in a good mood while boating and that thing makes me instantly mad!

dude, take a:chillpill:and follow with a beer... relax. it's just your dess signal, i agree it can be kinda annoying but it's nice to know it has some kind of security system some of the older one's dont' and anybody with a lanyard can take it from you and have a good time on it.... to my knowledge there is nothing you can do to get rid of it, but i would recomend pm'n snipe or seadooya, those guys can tell you how to or if you can get around it!! good luck

I FEEL YOUR PAIN! if you locate your beeper, you could try placing tape over it to quiet it or what i did was filled the hole in it with black permatex and it quieted it down to a whisper. i dont think i would recommend eliminating it completly, because if you have a running fault that beeper is gonna be a notification. so someday in the future you may be glad you have it.

lol... you guy's are rad. never realized how much that bothers people... i think the only time it's real annoying is when it's beeping away and the ski wont start... kind of an attention getter...lol

That's what bothers me. It is so flippen loud. We were at the dock for the first time and it started beeping and everyone was all soaring at us. My wife panicked thinking something was wrong. I was partly panicked, partly ready to rip my dash out and start hitting stuff with a hammer till it quit. The dog was howling, and the kids were yelling to turn it off. So now I here it and I want to go UFC on it!

Maybe I could take the beeper out, measure the resistance, replace it with a resistor and then take the stock one and put it in my blender and see if it will blend like that one you see on TV. If I ever have problems and the boat blows up, well then I get a new one or get o make this one faster. You know, the classic "I swear honey, it was like that before. The race gas is just to make sure it doesn't happen again."

Can you tell I am at work and am bored out of my mind LOL.

I know what your saying but when that beeper goes off constantly cause your're overheating and you shut down your engine/s down BEFORE you melt $500.00+ dollars worth of exhaust hoses and resonators you'll be glad it got your attention right away!

DAWG

the key was the....beer... they all do go out at sometime...but then you gotta replace them. i personally liked the silicone and tape over the holes.

Mine is too loud too...it can be heard clear across the lake. it even echoes when we are in the cove...drives me NUTS.

you could always put a removable piece of tape over the beeper and install a blinding warning light with it. that way you dont go deaf form the buzzer and the light still gives you the warning

i put a piece of black electric tape over the beeper, muffles the sound enough where you can hear it but its not deafening,

I really hope I can figure out something with it. If I can't get rid of it, I might just have to trade it in for a, dare I say, a Yamaha? I will be getting into that dash tonight or tomorrow, so I will find out.

Wow. When your are looking to fix something that's not broke, you are pretty bored. Two quick chirps and go. I loved it when I overheated.

Put a 1k resistor into the wire connector under the glove box, that loads down the line, there you can put a switch to stop/start it for testing.
