I NEED HELP!
My 97 speedster is having rpm gauge issues on the one engine. I have replaced the rectifier, and the Y wire. As well as the gauge. The gauge has been replaced twice!
So..left gauge is the one with the issues. Right works fine. All connections are tight and sound. When I swap the gauges so the right is controlled by the left engine and the left is controlled the right engine. The right gauge still works fine.
My understanding is that it technically can't be the rectifier or the y wire. Because each engine has their own rectifier and y wire. And whether I connect the left or right engine to the right rpm gauge. It seams to work fine. But when I connect them to the left, the gauge doesn't respond. So...sounds like a bad gauge. BUT how can I be blowing through gauges? This would be the 3rd one that was working and then just stops!
