Supercharger Whine

Hey guys- I just finally had the 185 superchargers rebuilt with OEM 200hr kits on my S200 and I have a question. Prior to the rebuild, both engines had a pretty noticeable whine sound at idle. Now after the rebuild, I’m not hearing at during a startup test on the trailer. Is this normal or should I be concerned? Everything seems fine otherwise and I even have the old vs new slippage values.

Appreciate any insight or experience as this is my first rebuild on the boat.

I couldn’t tell a difference in SC whine before/after rebuild but on the water and under power, it sounded the same as before. Noise is from vibration, so it could be that your old SCs had some friction causing the noticeable whine and the new ones with new bearings and washers is running smoother due to less friction. Which would make sense. I wouldn’t worry
