Supercharger rebuild kit vs new OEM Supercharger

Hello,

I will be reaching another 100 hours next summer so I've been thinking of new OEM Supercharger instead of the rebuild kit. Recent model has some extra coatings and is arround 700 usd, while rebuild kit + work at service is 500-600 usd....

So question is obvious - does the new OEM supercharger completely eliminates need for the rebuild kit ? (I can install new supercharger myself, but I can't disassemble and fix old one (don't have all tools etc etc)).

We sell the new OEM SCs for about 1,000 USD. 700 usd for a brand new one is a great price. I would be a little skeptical about that. We have a rebuild service that is $435 USD. We use all OEM parts.

The new SCs still need to be rebuilt every 100 hours or two years which ever comes first unfortunately.

Yes, thanks for the remark that new one needs rebuild as well -

Having two SuperChargers allows me flexibility to use one, while other is beling slowly repaired. I just need to know if new one is sufficient or there are parts (crankshafts) that are not part of the new kit...

If this is possible then my yearly service is basically simple: change oils, do checkup and put new supercharger while other one is being sent to the service.

I hope this clarifies my weird question LOL

PS: I am in europe, prices differ a lot as BRP isn't european product, it's weird market here, labor hours are is super expensive, especially if there is one store covering big area.

If you buy a second "new" SC, it will come complete. All the internal and external parts should be there. Simply bolt and go. That said, if you do so, make sure you buy it for the correct engine as some of the wheels are different sizes.
