Storage compartment drains

I was highly impressed that the spotters seat storage compartment would keep 2 bags of ice till the next day, but am wondering where the water is supposed to drain to. There is a drain hole in the bottom, but is still holding a couple inches of water a week later.

This compartment is not removable, just part of the boat with a drain in the bottom. 2008 speedster, spotter seat compartment.

That was my guess, its a new boat, must be something blocking the drain, will try a lenght of wire, or a blast of air to clear it. Thanks all.

I have a 09 150 Speedster and have the same problem. There appears to be foam blocking the hole stuck a ice pick in the drain hole but it still doesn't drain or it drains very slow and not completely was thinking about putting a drill bit in the drain hole but cannot tell if it would hit a stringer. The box is great holds ice for long time but the drain sucks Its fixing to go in for its 10 hr check up maybe the dealer can shead light on the problem

I started with a short length of mechanics wire, poked it down the drain. After about 4 " it seemed to be free of the foam. I opened the ski locker and could see the wire when I stuck my head under the deck. Grabbed a steel coat hanger, ran it up and down the drain hole, problem solved. There is a good 3 to 4 " of space between the bottom of the foam and the hull.

Thanks for the tips
