Hi All!

I'm replacing my steering cable and I noticed a little lag in the wheel. If I turn the wheel, it moves but the cable doesn't. Does anyone know if there's a simple adjustment for this?

Thanks!

In all my years... I've never tried to crack open a seadoo steering gear box. But... Telleflex made them... so if something is warn, you can contact the manufacture.

With that said... check all the connections at the helm. The mount could be loose, and moving.

If the outer housing is not mounted securely somewhere along the way, the cable flexes before the inner cable moves the attached items.

Thanks! The lag is in the helm assembly. I have the helm cover off and I see where the play is. Since there is no adjustment that can be made, I guess I will leave it for now.

Thanks again!!!

It is all normal with seadoo

I remplaced cable and steering helm and it is still Same steering moves but cable not
