Steering Bellows does not secure properly!

Planning to go out on the lake tomorrow, therefore decided to inspect the boat today. While checking the rubber bellows (outside near jet drive) on the steering cable with my hand I noticed that the bellows easily slipped off the cable end adapter exposing the cable! I slipped it back onto the cable end adapter and secured it with the bellows clamp. I used a little bit of clear marine silicone (did have the perfect seal (92-34227-1) as recommended by the service manual.

Should I be worried about the bellows slipping off while I am out on the lake?

The through hull steering cable bellows that can be seen in the engine compartment looks OK.

If you have it pushed back on... and the clamp is in place... you should be fine. If the boot is damaged, you may want to replace it.

The rubber bellows survived the outing to the lake this weekend, did not fall off, however upon return I noticed a tear, it needs replacing, any suggestions where to buy the steering cable outer bellow?
