My daughter has just got herself a yellow SEADOO - A helpful description bit its all I know

It as a bombadier engine too!

Anyway, yesterday while she was playing ,she went to restart it and all that happened was the starter solanoid ( in the blackbox front right engine bay) rapidly clicked, not quite a buzz.

To me, a V8 landrover fan, it says lack of power from the battery or an unwanted resistance.

Can someone give me a good step-by-step guide to trouble - shooting as I don't want to break her new toy anymore than it is already. I can't see it would be any different from the Landy but you got to check !!

She needs a new battery. Just to be safe, replace the gas too. Dump the Separator
fuel bowl & wash filter with soap & water. Re-grease that O-ring.

Alas it was NOT the battery - We have just had it tested and it is in very good health.:(

I'll try & check the earths

Any other thoughts?
