What’s the easiest way to remove the hand grips to get to the start stop button. I have a ski with a bad one and need to replace it. Any tips or tricks?

Button really has to be mashed currently to start the ski. I have an entire module from another ski I can use, I just don’t want to ruin the hand grip by cutting it.

Pop the end cap off the end of the handlebars. Unscrew the bolt and remove the hand grip. The start stop button holder has a set screw. Loosen with Allen wrench. Holding the start button in is a small philips screw .

Many thanks! Sounds pretty easy!

Take note of how the keeper with the small philips screw goes in. It hold your start button in the housing

No need to completely remove the set screw. Loosen just enough that the assembly moves freely. If you do unscrew it all the way, there is a lock nut on the inside you need to not lose.. Trust me, I learned the hard way lol

I was able to do this it was easy. Was nice to know the little tricks before tackling :) and I didn’t lose the lock washer. Mine were in there pretty good luckily
