Start button issues

So I have a white 587 motor I just purchased it rebuilt 0 hours and my start button is not working,it’s not even clicking on the solenoid,so I swapped solenoids to a new one,got a new start button, fresh battery, and a new safety post (non dess), I am able to jump the solenoid with a screw driver and it turns over, but the button itself will not do anything,I checked and I believe it’s wired correctly, going off of my electronics off another white 587 motor that I pulled and it works, not sure what’s going on,I appreciate any input.

Did you bypass your new safety post? Perhaps it isn't working.
When you jump the solenoid does the ski start? If not, there is a bigger problem. If the ski is not starting you are also not sending spark to the plugs. It's gonna be the wiring. Check your fuses and get the wiring diagram out and camp out under the hood till you find it. You might have a bad MPEM. Could also be a bad rectifier. I've been in these before. :D

Keep in mind the early and late safety lanyard switches are different, one is normally open and one is normally closed so you have to have the correct one or they wont stat or won't turn off.
