took my 98 xp limited out this weekend and when I opened the hood hatch the start switch pulled away from underneath the red start button. When I loosen the hex key underneath the handle bar then pulled the start/trim housing to the left I can put a flat head screw driver in-between the housing and move the start switch back under the red button. Now with it back where it belongs when the switch is pushed the start button clicks as should. When I go ride now the button will pull out so that I can not stop or start without taking the thing apart. Has anyone ever dealt with this?

Can't remember anyone talking about it on this board. I would put the switch back into the housing, and put a little RTV around it, to glue it in place.
BUT... if something is tugging on the wires from the backside, to pull it away... I would figure out why, so you don't break the wires.
