Is that a trick question? At the time, in 1996, the 717cc was the second most powerful engine that Rotax had out at the time. The most powerful was the 787cc.:cheers:

when they are running right… they are a 45 MPH boat that is reliable, and easy on fuel. Not to mention… in the early to mid 90s… Most boat companies were putting 50hp on their “starter” boats… and they weighed twice as much as the SeaDoo. So, 85hp is pretty good in a boat that is under 1000 Lbs.
A few weeks ago, I was pulling a wake board around with 2 passengers and me in the boat. That’s why they put the 720 engine in that hull. The only mod I have is the 16/21 swirl impeller.
