Working on some rental 2011 gti's with solas props that are a few months old.
I noticed there are no impeller cones left. They corroded away....
So switching them back to oem impeller and rubber cones.

These two impeller are perfect but I have no cones... any ideas? Rather not use the stock aluminum ones again If they are reused in the future.

I'll try and get some.
Looks like an impeller and driveshaft without a boot in the end. It's just the size of a keychain ring on the shaft now...

Here is the second one.
Salt water corrosion. There is only an O-ring between the two that holds the cone on.
I wouldn't recoment this design for salt water. Lake water yeah. But not salt...

I bought a Solas with the aluminum cone and it leaked right away, I can run the rubber OEM cone for months with no leak. I changed it because I didn't want the splines to corrode away.
