Hello, just have a question about my seadoo and hopefully someone will know the answer. This is a 2000 seadoo gtx, which I have started to have problems with again. We took it out 3 times this summer with no problems, ran fine, started right away. We were going to take out it for the last time, so we filled the tank up fully and just did a quick test run to make sure it ran. It would start up, but have like the bogging sound or w-e, and stop running, I tried starting it again, it ran very poorly, and when I tried giving it throttle, it would die out. Did not have this problem before, would rev up nicely before this.Next day try to start, get the click sound.. so there goes the starter relay..got a new original one, now its cranks well, but no start.Checked*spark*plugs, flooded in fuel.. There is blue spark in both, but almost no sign of any oil.. I know it doesnt need oil to start running, but it looks like its flooding the sparks with fuel before it can even ignite.

There were 2 GTx models in 2000. So... before we can help... what version is it (Carbs or EFI)... and what have you checked?

Sounds like a carb issue to me. I've never heard of a efi ski bogging like that, unless the fuel filter is THAT plugged.

Does the seadoo still have the grey fuel lines?

Its a carb, and all fuel lines were changed 6 months or so ago.
Well i thought that maybe the compression may be bad so went to check the compression and fried it since it filled up with fuel all the way to the top and went all over. Im sure ill have to do a carb rebuilt anyways aince it had the bogging sound but why its not staring and spitting out tons of fuel idk..

Theres almost no sign of oil on the apark plugs so thinking something isent letting that pil mix with the fuel. Theres plenty of oil in the tank.
