Shut off valve for towing

Is it a good idea to just put in a valve in case you need to be towed or are you better off buying the hose clamp. If a valve is a good way to go, what type and where could I get one? The hose I would need to shut off is 3/4''

I did it. Brass ball valve has worked well for 2 years now.

Just be sure it doesn't constrict or restrict your water flow. Keep it as big as you can so it doesn't bottle neck your water flow.
