Seadoo RXP white deposit

Hello there,

I've got a 09 Seadoo RXP X255RS and since i have owned it 3 weeks now after a run i have a white / chalky deposit on the back of the rocker cover / engine cover at the back end of the ski. I took off the clip that holds the water hose on and there was also a chalky build up there, now cleaned it all away fitted a new stainless clip and went out for an hour last night and there it is again but only on the engine cover. Any ideas ?

If you ride in salt water, could it be the residue of salt?

Probably Salt deposits

I have the same thing on mine did taste test it was salt.
