Now here is an interesting question I have for you all.
Can I transplant the guts of a 2011 SeaDoo GTI 130 in to a 2019 SeaDoo GTI 130 shell?!
I have a 2011 SeaDoo GTI 130 that works fine, but with a fist sized hole in the front bottom of the hull, and I have a source for a 2019 SeaDoo GTI 130 hull with a blown engine. Now, I need to know for certain that the internals are identical, because I would love to take the engine from the 2011 and put it in to the 2019.
According to official seadoo stats sheets, they both use the 1503 Rotax 4-TEC engine. So the question is then, are the rest of the components cross compatible and a straight bolt in?
On the outside the hulls look the same, but the 2019 bottom hull is made out of plastic, and the 2011 bottom hull is made out of fiberglass. Will there be different mounts and different bolting locations?
