Hey all - Been really reading about the new 300 1630 ace engine since last year.
Wanted to get some opinions of anyone who has ridden both of the above skis.
I read a review of someone who had read both, and they loved the RXP - which is the one I am getting.
However, I get the Watercraft Super Store annual magazine, which is a fav bathroom book of mine in the spring.
Last year in their line up, they couldn't talk enough about the RXT.... How it hit 70+ with a 160 pound rider etc etc etc.
This years lineup had the RXP, and this review mentioned that it would 'likely' hit 68... making it seem like the RXP is slower if you read both reviews back to back.
Even on the seadoo web page, the RXT 300 has a quotation next to it saying: 0-60mph in 3.8 seconds, while the RXP 300 had no such boast on its page.
If I am using logic, the RXP has the same engine, and LESS weight - which would make me think that they are both pretty close, with the RXP edging out the bigger RXT.
Let me know what you guys think!
