Hello all
I'm new here and recently acquired a 2007 RXP 215 with ceramic washer syndrome.
I sent the SC to PWCM for rebuild and tore the engine down completely, except valves, to remove debris and ceramic sludge.
It got new ring gear, bearings, oil pumps and pressure relief.
It fired right up and runs great.
I've had it out three times, not quite an hour total, and each time it has let out a one second warning beep.
It happens on abrupt let off of throttle after full throttle run, 70 MPH @ 7850 RPM for 15-30 seconds.
It doesn't do it every time, only once per outing so far.
I have not checked oil pressure with a gauge.
Should I be concerned or is it normal for these to do this?
Thanks in advance,
Denny

Well here are a couple encouraging possibilities:

BeepChart.jpg

It probably was a 2 seconds beep.

The starter solenoid was bad.
Not sure how they monitor that but it was very intermittent to start.
Likely if the output goes active but the engine doesn't crank it logs a fault.
Wouldn't think that would sound off on deceleration but who knows, maybe it was just coincidentally 15 minutes.

Fuel was at about half, but depending on alarm response time, I suppose that could be triggered by fuel sloshing around from rapid deceleration.

New solenoid is now installed and tank is full so we'll see.
Probably not for a few days though since it's amateur weekend and I avoid the lake like the plague.

I'll keep you all posted.

Peace,

DPM
