The online parts catalogue where?
Do you mean here if not what site?

Yes. You can get so focused on navigating this forum, that it is easy to miss looking at the quick links that are at the top. They are our sponsors for this forum, so we try to support them when possible.

Should be getting thumbs up from admins. :patriot:

THank you very much for this info. If there is any more parts or anything else I will need please let me know thanks.

Hello To all,
AS promised here is the pictures from my ski.
My mechanic friend did the job early and I can't even get over to the ski till Monday so here is what he said below and some pictures so you can see. Please help us here by advising us what parts we will need to replace and what website/place to get the parts from......

What the Mechanic said: "Washers, Bearings, & gear are gone. When they went they ate into the housing and ate the fins of the super charger up.
One of the picture(s) shows the loose ball bearing sitting on top of the washer. There are also Roller bearings missing that went under the gear. Also the Needle bearings are missing from under the gear."

Again to be clear now we need your/the forum(s) help on compiling a list of what parts to buy to fix the ski correct and where to get them from (what websites please provide links).....?

Did he say anything about the engine itself? Generally those parts fall down into the drive gears and can wipe out the engine drive gears. Also, the ceramic gets into the oil pump and seriously harms the engine.

You had a supercharger failure. You need to check your engine for the washers. The gear is still in tact. Your wheel had a touch down and needs to be replaced. You also need to check the structural integrity of the housing.

Hello
He did not say anything about inside the engine. I will try to go over there today. Please procide here a list of things for us to check inside th motor & ski & anything else you can think of for us to check. This will help us & will be much appreciated on my part.

If your washer failed. It is now in the oil bath and probably oil pump. As mentioned by others above. This is not a good thing. Normally requires a major engine cleaning as the ceramic washer bits will destroy the engine.

Can you guys please provide me some links and a list of parts and things to fix so I can get the ski back in order.....
Also WHAT CAUSED THIS....?
FROM THE PICTURES THE WASHERS ARE STILL IN THERE SO WHAT CAUSED THIS>>>>>?

What caused this? Is that a joke? You(or somebody) ran an engine for 285 hours that should have had the sc rebuilt at 100 hours, that's what caused it and I'm surprised it lasted that long.

The ceramic washers have busted and the pieces are floating around in your engine and most likely will ruin your engine if not cleaned out properly. In your pic, see the gap? That's where they WERE. The washers you see are the spring washers and those aren't the ones people are referring to. The ceramic slip washers were on each side of the gear.

You may not want to hear my suggestion but I think the engine needs to come out and be completely gone through to ensure all ceramic fragments are removed. I just rebuilt a 4tec that they didn't clean out all the ceramic washers very well and it took out a main bearing which then caused a connecting rod to break and get thrown through the side of the block, it took 22 hours after the sc rebuild. At the very least, you need to pull the pto housing and front oil pump to clean and check the screens as well as the condition of the oil pumps for scarring. Then decide the next action.

How long did it run after the sc failed? This will usually determine how much damage is done and it doesn't take long.

This is an excellent question.... If it was run for anytime after the failure, I would pull the engine as well. My concern is, if you do not, you will encounter a pretty major and expensive repair with your engine...

Without intending any offense, if you have to ask what caused this and what parts to order, the repair is not something you should attempt on your own. We can help you with your supercharger through PWCMuscle.com, as we see it all the time with people who fail to adhere to the 2 year / 100 hour service interval.

This is good advise that should be followed. This thread is closed since the question has been asked and answered.
