Rusting Prop shafts

I have a couple of GTX's and I love those things. They are the best boats I've owned. I use them in the ocean when we go out and I have'nt noticed any problems with corroding (minus trailer) until I decided to wax the bottom of them. Looking under into the intake I noticed the prop shafts on bolt skis were about 75% covered with rust. I hose these puppies down alot every time and use alot of Saltaway, soap, all day drying time (seats off), and WD-40. These skis are so well designed, by experience with other ones I've had, I just cannot believe BRP would not make the shafts rust proof. Do other people that go in the ocean have the similar problem? I am a little concerned. (Rust Never Rests)

They all rust

Make sure your zinc(s) are in place (I think you have zincs?). I mist bombardier spray (now XPS) in through the intake grate while the ski is running (dry) on the trailer.
