Rotary valve surface damage?

hello guys,

I would like if anyone could criticize this Rotary valve surface.
Because there is missing some metal near by one of the inlet holes.
Do you think this engine could run good with this damage?

Should be fine.

The two big things are make sure there are no grooves connecting the two ports.
Second is that the cover clearance is within spec.

yeah I noticed that and the clearance is out of spec, so thank to you I can buy a new cover from sbt because I know the engine side is fine.
