Hi,

Just installed some mods ... It's a 2012 RXT-260 stage1 + Free Flow Exhaust Kit ... It sounds good

Before: http://youtu.be/NEiCU8mV2hg

After: http://youtu.be/Eij7Q7tIA9M

Next step will be a VTECH tune... Also, I need your help on removing the front/rear air ducts that goes all the way in the hull... Does removing them help on getting more air inside? More RPM?

Thanks for the help :)

Sounds good! Have you taken it for a ride yet? How do you like that drone around 3500-4500rpm under load?

It doesn't bother me much either. I kinda like it actually. I do usually cruise around 5k so it's not an issue

I'm going to slide this thread on over to the performance forum. spouk3, we do carry the VTECH line on PWCMuscle.com, it just isn't listed yet. SDF10 gets you 10% off....also sent you a PM.

I'll quote myself here ;) I need your help ...

Is it giving more air in hull... water inside the hull is not an issue ... there's no big wakes that can flip me over ... I'm on a small lake ...

Thanks guys!

I'm not familiar with the ducting in the S3 hull. I can tell you that I removed some out of rear part of the hull on my 08 and it made zero difference

I love the drone sound ! Played your video twice lol
I have the free flow on my ski and Its the loudest right at 3K, kind of OMG loud actually.

Unfamiliar with the hull ventilation on your ski....so bear with me.

Ventilation is a good thing...and in warm weather a very good thing. Heat fade is a killer...2-3mph loss in 90-95degree heat isn't uncommon....at any elevation. A lot of peeps in the older skis like mine, install a blower fan...3"-4"...either at the exit under the seat or more common up front at the end of the air inlet under the glove box.

What'll it do? You'll force the engine heat out faster...keeping the inside of your hull cooler and unaffected by summertime heat. That and a lower temp thermostat will virtually eliminate heat fade.

.....

One thought...if those ducts also feed your air intake....you don't want any blower fan in your sc's way. Can't keep up. So...if you still want to aid venting the hull...will have to move any blower and duct it at the exit.
