Rave Valve Stuck

Hello... I have a 96 GTX and the RAVE Valve in the front cylinder is stuck in there to the point I can't get it out. It wiggles around in the cylinder but won't pull out. Any suggestions?

shoot some penetrating oil in there, let sit, then re-apply the pull.

You can also spray some brake cleaner in there to loosen up the carbon that is holding it in.

I tried brakleen and penetrating oil. Its stuck good. What dissolves that carbon buildup?

Heat. Did it come in contact with the piston by any chance?

Try pulling really hard on it.

I don't believe it came in contact with the piston. It runs OK with it stuck down and this happened while it was sitting over the last 4 weeks. Ran just fine before. What would cause that if it did?

The piece moves up about 1/16-1/8 inch then stops. it also wiggles from side to side just fine in the slot.

It could be a build up of carbon in slots it rides in.

So, I got it out... at the cost of the guillotine part. Where do I go to buy a new guillotine?

I cleaned my RAVE valves today and had a stuck one also. I got it out ok but how do I clean up the slots so it doesn't stick again?
