My GTX 155 rattles from the side view mirror. Anyone solved this problem? Anyone know how to remove or dissasemble the plastic houisng that holds the mirror? My homemade solution is to go fast and then I can't hear it, but it does get annoying when idling.

I have to do this job myself and looked at the hood the other day. Looks like you have to remove the outer decorative hood from the inner supporting hood. Once that is done, I think you will be able to see the mounting screws.

My mirror is GONE,, vibrated right out. 40 buck for the mirror. I plane on doing the job later this week..

Well, I couldn't quite relate to your instructions, but I took a good look at the inside of the mirror housing with the front storage cover up. From what I could see and feel the housing was loose, and that was causing the noise. The housing was only slighly loose, but that was enough. I identified the loose portion as pointed out in this photo to the left of my finger..

So since I was at the cottage, I improvised and used this....

Then I put a bead on the inside of the housing like this...

The outside of the housing from the bottom looks like it unclips, but I didn't try it.

Was using my BB Z30 so hopefully these pics come out okay...
