Quick Question. Maybe even a dumb one. Jet pump fluid to change or not?

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick question. I started my 2000 GTX RFI back at the start of the summer getting it ready for the year. The seadoo only ran on the hose and trailer during the standard process getting it ready. However this summer i never ended up using it, never put it in water.


Would you still change the jet pump oil? When reviewing the diagrams it doesn't appear to be any way the water would get to that area.

What are your thoughts?

Honestly I only do mine every couple of years. Never had any issues.

Agreed Mikey. Sometimes messing with a seal on that thing causes more damage in the long run. I've been packing in waterproof grease 50% which has saved me a few times on leaks.
