i am currently piecing together the elec box for a 1993 spx (with all the correct oem components) and am curious about the balck wire coming off the control module with the eyelets. are the 2 just ground to the ground post? 1 on the lower ground post one on the upper post by the ignition box?

yes, they are grounds. One will go to the center of your regulator/rectifier unit, and the other (i think) goes to the solenoid.

I think one goes to the coil for ground and the other goes to the grounding post, that's how I picture it in my head but been years since I worked on a 93 but they were all pretty much the same back then.

so if i hook it up to say the wrong area....... is this going to hurt anything, or not...... i mean if it is just a ground does it matter

as long as you hook it up to a ground it won't hurt anything, if you hook it up to a positive side, it can cause damage. it just won't run if you don't get all the components grounded.
