I was putting my seadoo 2002 utopia 185 away for winter and it was fairly cold today. I put my knee down on the rear seat cushion to reach under and un latch the engine compartment when I heard a pop pop sound. Now I have 2 rear cushions with cracks or slits in the rear seat cushions. Where can I get new seat cushions? And would seat covers work or will they look stupid. Basically I would like new seats. Anybody have a set of seat cushions for this boat?

OK i kind of have a simiar question. I have a 2002 seadoo utopia 205 that has 2 oversized seats for the driver and the passenger. Anyone know where i can get a used or half way cheap normal bucket seat for the drivers side? I looked on the seadoo warehouse site and they want like $800 for a seat

check local marina's, or boat salvage yards...etc(craigslist) anywhere, they deal with boats, and "fab" the seat to existing platform/swivel....:cheers:

i found a seat... You guys think it will work with my utopia.. i dunno if i will have to do any modifying for the mount or not

Was just at Bass Pro Shop, and had numerous seats, cheaper than that one, and they had the mounting holes...

Post some picks. there are companys that have mobile sevices that fix cracks and cuts in vinyl and leather upholstery without replacing anything and you never no where the repair is.

You know where i could find the shorter rails for the single seat for the mounting bracket. On the one i have now, the rails on the seat are longer for the bigger seat. I looked on the warehouse parts page but it doesn't show just the rails i don't think

I've lifted seats in neighbors boat. We used 1inX1in aluminum stock, cut to length, and then got longer same thread bolts.

Yea thats what i was thinking doing something like that so thats good to hear to it'll work..... and i looked on ebay and found the same seat that i posted and another one and it said that they come with a universal mounting plate... you think that'll work?

Have same issue with my front seats. Just bought a 2003 Utopia 205. Boat is docked at Lake Conroe by Houston, TX. Got in first day with fam and when my oldest son stepped on the seat, the blue vinyl stripe tore in two places. The next dsay it happened on the other side. I have need conditioning the vinyl every trip out since to try and keep it soft. I have seen some stuff on Overtons called "Tuff-repair" for vinyl. Looks like a tube of glue. Anyone use anything like that to repair? Upholstry shops around here want over $1000 to re-wrap seats.:ack:

For time being, Wal-Mart has about every color out there, probably match it/close enuf, or try ebay, found numerous colors there...temperary fix, and aint that bad, beats the rips and "grey" duct tape..

I have a 2001 Utopia 185 and was having problems with cracking and splitting of the seats. I took them in and re-upholstered a couple (expensive). I ended up buying a sewing machine and doing my own ( not really that hard)- hardest part was matching the colour. I ended up replacing the entire vinyle on the whole boat for about $ 400
