Dr Honda Well-Known Member Jun 27, 2010 #5 Sorry... my bad. Yes, the 4-tec boats/skis use grease. (I was thinking it was a Di) Checking the bearings is a yearly thing. If the seals and bearings are good, you shouldn't have to add any grease. During a rebuild, you pack the housing with grease.
