Premix question

I've looked into finding information on whether or not it's considered safe to premix in the tank rather than in a can and can't find a general consensus. I was thinking of adding oil to the tank and then filling with the appropriate amount of gas. Going on vacation soon and would like to avoid lugging the gas cans with me. Thanks

Tank is fine. I never mixed in the can.

Gas will slosh around plenty.

Put the oil pump back on... no premix again
