Before you go run it, when was the last time that the carbs were rebuilt?
Po says September of 2020 and he only ran non ethanol fuel. He is a local pwc mechanic and has been servicing this ski for ten years prior to buying it. But I am going to pull them and check them out. Judging by overall condition of ski I tend to believe him,

Sounds like a good plan. I just hate it when someone gets a new to them ski and it has issues the first time out. Full service is a good starting point for anything new to you.

Man looks like you got a GREAT SKI there !! I really like the GS models, just enough increase in stability over the SPs and such and still great handling. 3 seaters are OK but my preference is the smaller ones.

Screens in carb were clean and no varnish at all. I even got the vts working! Had some corrosion on the motor leads so I cut the wires back a bit and installed née connectors. Then I threw a new boot with plastic clamps I had for my xp. This thing is pretty

Post number 14 is an updated housing. The older version of this housing has a cut out in the ‘actuation’ pathway

Very nice, I just picked up a 97 SPX that sat from 2000/2001 to 2020 under a cover in a garage. It still has the dealer bar code sticker beside the HIN in perfect shape.

I'll trade you a get out of jail free card and park place for it???????

(dang nab)

Excellent find! Look into the rave valve update, check the carbs, jet oil, sacrifice some KFC and go ride.
