Just curious if others are seeing the same thing. I have an abundance of xp parts that seem to not be selling nearly as fast as they were. I guess with the upcoming fall season nearing people are putting them away.

A LOT of 657 parts.
good 657 MPEM
pump
more and more and more.

I have a bunch on evilbay. feel free to search 96ranger1 and you can see what I have listed.

or feel free to ask if you need anything. All my stuff is from stripped xp's

Your 717 case is a 787 case BTW. 717 don't have a counter balance. Either that or you posted the wrong pics

Pretty soon im gonna start putting bundles together and let it go for whatever it goes for. Ive got more cables and handlebars etc that are just taking up space

Gotta price things right. If I'm selling something on Ebay I always see what others ones are out there and price mine accordingly. If I can be at the same price or less than someone else and can, I'll throw in free shipping. People will bite on free shipping 9 out of 10 times, but you can't boost the price to bury the shipping, I'll red flag that and move on if I'm buying. If you see 20 of the same item, you gotta be lower or stand out with free shipping, make an offer, something. I love me the "make an offer" ebay listings. The aftermarket parts are what really kill me, especially when I can get OEM for less, the same, or just barely a few bucks more, why would I go aftermarket. Call me crazy but I'd rather make a few bucks and know I'm giving someone a fair shake and that they get their "what ever it is" back up and running.

this is the part of parting out that sucks, the 35% of the stuff that doesn't sell fast.

end of season, all the good stuff picked over, and not many people have 657's to begin with .

i have 6 crates myself :)

Do you have a stock 717 piston should be 81.93 or 81.94

Everything seems to slow down every election year also. I guess everyone gets afraid to spend money until they see which crook gets elected.

I actually have several "make and offer" auctions and thought it would be a good way to generate interest. So far I have not gotten the first offer. I thought I would at least get some low ball offers which I was cool with...

will that VTS you have fit my 96 XP? Any issues with the year difference? Thanks.

This VTS motor was one of the ones on the front side of the hull... Now with that said I have put the 2 types side by side and the only difference i could see was that the one on the side is designed for threaded bolts to hold it in. The typical type that goes in the rear vts box is bolted down.

So I believe that it could be used but would need to have the threaded inserts drilled out.

Let me know if you are interested in either of them

thanks

I have my boat running great right now. I certainly don't want to do anything that may blow the MPEM. What do you think Doc?

Parts during the off season (or close to) take time to sell on ebay even if they're priced correctly.

Non hardcore riders don't worry/think about wrenching during the non peak season. That said all my buddies & I snatch up parts during the dead of winter for builds & spares.
