Parts please

Does anyone know where I can get parts for a 1995 GTS 587? I have looked on Ebay and didn't have any luck with the parts I am looking for. I live in New Orleans but am willing to order from almost any location. Thanks for the help.

What parts are you looking for? Engine, body, elecrical? Some parts are common to several skis.

LOL yep...I have lots of parts, but I havent specifically parted that ski. Let me guess....handlebar cover, fuel pickup, annnnnnd Gauge cover?

Well the ski wasn't getting oil from the injection so i used premix just to be safe. I am wondering if my oil injection is broken or if something else is wrong. I also was curious about when I took the ski out of the water it was making a somewhat grinding noise from the impeller area. So I need some oil injection parts and i am still looking through to make sure everything else works. I am new to all of this so I don't know exactly what is what yet.

I would pull that pump off and open it up. Hopefully it hasnt trashed the bearings. You may have a rock in there too.

I have oil pumps, and jet pumps if you need them.

Also can I swap my needle gas gauge for a LCD gauge?

Where exactly is the oil pump located? I can pull it off if I knew which one it was. I am new to Rotax and am trying to learn it. Will your oil pumps fit on my ski? And how do I check the jet pump?

The intake manifold has to come off to change out the oil pump. Yes it will fit. Its under the carb.

Take the nozzle off the pump then the nose cone, and the oil will come out. if there was a bunch of water in there it needs to be checked out. make sure to use a new OEM oring for the nose cone.

A LCD gauge can be swapped into any machine, but you will need to run a couple of wires and change some connectors in most cases.

Thanks for the help. How much do you charge for some of the things you offered? Do you have a website with pictures of the items? Im not to sure what you mean by the oil will come out, Would i be taking apart the jet pump from the rear of the ski?

Yes you will. I just learned how to do it and will be changing mine for the first time tomorrow. Just get on you tube and search how to change jet pump oil. There is one on there that demonstrates it pretty good I think.

Another good idea if you are just learning to work on these is to become a premium member so you have access to the shop manuals and premium help area. Just some FYI.
