Hi, I have a 95 GTX and it has the twin carbs. I removed the carbs for a good cleaning and reassembled and am ready to install but I found that I'm missing a small plastic part that the oil pump cable rides on so that it can make a slight turn to line up with the oil pump arm. I can't remember this part during disassembly but in a video I've been watching it is there, and of coarse needed otherwise the cable would be grinding against metal. I can try and post of pic of the part but while I do that does anyone know a good place to get these Mikuni specific parts? thanks

That part has been discontinued. Nick Grillo at OSD marine had some. Not sure if he still does or not. I’ve seen of someone jimmy rigging something up but can’t remember where I seen it or what they did.
Thanks, I'll have to make something up I guess. I'll take a closer look under the motor, maybe it fell out after I disconnected it. Do you know if it has a clip on it, holding it in place?
I don’t. I’m not at home. If you need I can have a look and post a pic. But that wouldn’t be till Monday afternoon
That would be great, I can then verify that the clip I have is for that part. Its quite likely that it fell down under the motor and I didn't notice.
