I recently rebuilt a 657X engine and noticed the oil pump at idle discharged little to no oil. Oil pump does pump at idle when oil lever is helt to full open. So I ran a test I marked the gas and oil levels, ran the engine, measured correct oil and gas to bring level back up to the marks. I came up with a ratio of 75 to 1. This was mostly crusing at 1/2 to 3/4 throttle does this ratio sound right.

You should add you seadoo modle and year to you avatar. The oil injector system is a variable rate injector system. It uses very little oil at idle speed, and much more at full speed. It is real hard to give an exact amount of oil used at different rpm's due to it being a variable rate system. Chances are the oil pump is working properly if it is pumping oil.

Oil?

No, this sounds like you mighthave avolume flow issue,With the engine at idle, you should be able to wind that cam lever wide open, causing it to smoke like a mosquito truck.

You can also remove components to expose thoes oil inlet nipples, take odd the oil pump, make a shaft from 3/8" stock, cut a slice in it and use a drill motor to spin it counter clockwise and watch for flow at the nipples.

Chec and replace your inline oil filter if it has not already been done. You are suppose to di this once a year.
