Off button HELP?

Dess plug in, beeps as it should. Push start button, bam start and runs as it should. Ok now the tricky part, push the stop button and stays running like nothing happens. Pull the tether on dess post and kills it as it should.
Pulled the red cover off switch to make sure was actually pushing button and it is. Don’t want to just exchange switch, because it starts the darn thing.. Not sure how to test and or cannot find wiring diagram.
Any help appreciated, and thanks in advance!

So nobody? No ideas? No response or comments? Is the computer what controls the shut off command? Isn’t there just two wires coming from start , stop button? Normally open, till pushed? Any one

Sorry, yes it's the computer that should be killing the engine as the start/stop button is the same switch for both so I would check all connections.
