Hey guys, went out for a short run today on the 96XP, and everything seemed to be working well. Only went out for a short time, maybe 40 minutes, since water was ice cold. Unfortunately I didn't think to look back at the tell tale pee hole while I was on the water. Came home, decided to run it on the hose to flush the cooling system. Hooked up hose to the quick connect fitting, and pinched line behind the fitting per manual. However, while running there was no water at all coming out from the back pee hole tell tale. Usually while flushing I have a nice stream back there. Water was coming out of exhaust and jet pump, but none from the tell tale. As soon as I realized this, I touched the engine to make sure it was cool and that water was getting through. The PTO side was cool to the touch, but the mag side was quite hot, almost too hot to touch but not quite. Exhaust manifold and pipe were cool. Ran for a few minutes and still nothing out the tell tale. Took hose off head pipe where water exits for tell tale and there was a very slow stream coming out of there. However, since there was absolutely none coming out the back, that might lead me to believe the tell tale hose may be blocked? But if that's the case, why is one side of my engine running hot while the other side is ice cold?
