First boat, few questions. How do you adjust trim on a 2010 challenger 180?

Also noticed the dash isn’t showing temp. Just a - - -.

Took the boat out for the first time yesterday, feels like I may need wear ring, and gonna do prop while I’m in there.
Best prop to use and wear ring?

Thanks for any help.

Well took it out for the first time this weekend after buying it. Supposedly new short block, that is now burning oil. Pulled plugs and 1 cylinder plug is oil soaked, so yeah that’s fun

Don't panic yet.

Are you sure it is burning oil? Is the oil level dropping? Any blue smoke?

There is the valve cover seal on each spark plug hole that if they leak will fill the spark plug hole with oil above the plug. When the plug is loosened, that oil will go down in the spark plug hole and coat the spark plug as you pull it out. Look down the plug tube. If it is full of oil, it could be this

Or.

You have bad rings or valve seals in that cyl. If the tube is dry, it is most likely this.

Plugs are dry on the outside, actually when we were on our way back, the boat nosed over real bad, wouldn’t go over 4700rpm. Let it sit for a sec. Then It ran fine. Tons of smoke out of exhaust

Your oil level is probably overfilled which is exactly how the plugs get oil soaked in 4tecs and then will foul. Halfway between the marks on the dipstick.
