Ok, I have a 96 GTS and the problem is it wont start. Its got a new fully charged battery, new plugs, great spark (i know because it shocked the crap out of me). It will turn over but will not crank. I've tried gas in the cylinders, starting fluid. its getting fuel anyway but fugured i would try anyway. Anyway nothing ive tried has seamed to work....any advice would be great. I have had this ski for about 3 years now and had little to no problems.

BTW...this is after they sat for the winter. They were started from time to time during the winter and had no problems. now this happens. I do most of the work on the skis myself.

I also have a 98 GS with the 720 in it and need a new or used MPEM (anybody)

anyway thanks in advance for any advice.

Thanks for the link. I'll give them a call tomorrow. What i really need is the info on the 96 that is posted above. I'm stumped on that one.

Could the engine be foolding out? that is the only thing I can think of since you have been starting it a few times during storage and it has been starting. and that you say you have gas to cylinders and you tried starting fluid I just can not think of any other reason for it not starting. I am stumped on this one. good luck Robin

Have you tried the compression of he engine? If it has any internal problem and the compression is low it won't start with fuel and spark. The Ideally should be 150 psi per cylinder. If you not sure on how to do a compression check give us a shout and we'll get you on the right track to do one.
