2000 seadoo rfi with new engines.. Been reading a lot on here but not a lot for 2000 787 rfi . had skis out a lot this year, and they ran great. One ski would bog at anything over 3/4 throttle. everytime. Only other problem is that both machines can be hard to start. Have to give just a little gas each time. going to send out injectors this winter and try that for next year. I used Quantum fuel pumps in both machines. anyone have problems with those? Maybe that's my bogging problem. Im going to go to a hotter plug to try and correct the starting with cleaned injectors/ just looking for a little feed back from those who know. Also i would like to add i am using the original fuel regulators on new pumps ,

Do not change plug heat range, has nothing to do with our issues.
Have the injectors cleaned and tested and make sure the two filters in the tank are clean.
I have heard mixed reviews on the Quantum pumps.

You have to test your fuel pressure. Good that you are getting the injectors cleaned. Giving them throttle to start tells me you don't have the idle set correctly which means you'll have to reset the TPI. Did you replace your spark plugs? What is the quality of your fuel? Put some high octane in there. Batteries have to be hot for these things to work. Make sure your charging system is putting out.

Yeah, me too on the pumps. Could it be the old fuel regulators on new pumps? I felt as though I was going to break something trying to get them out.

new plugs all the time. I thought idle was just a screw you can turn. what do you mean tpi . what can be done with that.
