NEW to here, need help?

I have two 2006 Seadoo GTI SE's and my daughter broke the small glove box door latch. I have looked at parts .com to dismally discover that they only sell the whole door for $80.00.. Any ideas where I might buy just the actual latch as I know how to change and install a new one on the retaining rod w spring...... and hopefully for way under $80.00 !!! THANKS

Im showing a part # of 269500553 for the latch...16.99

I dont have any lids that new, but it sure looks like the same one they used on the GTXs for years. If you cant get it I'll sell one for $20 shipped.

I have the numbers cast into the back of the black plastic handle piece # 269 500 510 and a #269 500 441. Mine broke at the tabs that the metal pivot rod passes through with the spring (those pieces are still on the lid). IF you have the latch I will gladly buy it . Not a problem its the same part number molded into the latch on a 98 gti lid.
