New owner of a 2002 Utopia 185 with 200 hp Mercury

Hello ! I'm new to this site , just bought my Utopia 185 .. I previously owned a small Sea Ray jetboat but am still learning .. Any advice for a Utopia newby ? I was told that to de winterize in the spring all I need to do is put gas in it, reconnect the battery, turn battery switch to on and drop it in the water . Is this accurate ? Any advice would be appreciated! I'm impressed with the wealth of knowledge on this site and look forward to being a part of it!

If it was properly winterized... then yes.
