New guy has tons of questions..

Been lurking on site for months, but was unable to post until now, so here goes
Had just finished replacing all fuel lines,repaired fuel float magnet, replaced all oil lines,
Flushed oil & fuel tanks, switched to a soil interceptor oil w/ new filter, etc. went to work on last night, and found a bunch of my 50$ a gallon oil in the bilge. Leaking from bottom of tank, will the oil tank from a 01 gts fit in the Xp ? I don't have that ski here, but I can go get parts off it if it will work, fuel tank also?

Lower grommet fails often. Also if it is a two piece rank, the seam fails. Not sure if the tank you are asking about is a direct fit. But I would recommend getting a one piece tank.

Ok, pulled all the Amsoil out, pulled oil tank....went and grabbed oil and fuel tank out of the 01 gts at friends house. The tanks are identical, but the gts has the low oil sender integrated in with the return line from the oil bath on the top of tank, instead of at the bottom rear fitting going to the pump. All I had to do was use the fitting that came with the tank, because the grommet hole in the tank is smaller than the xp's was, because of the sender being there on the XP. Other than that, everything fit fine, and it's back together
Now, and not leaking.
