Hey all - I need to install 2 new engines in my 99 challenger 1800 - advice on where to start? Buy new engines, buy rebuilt.....sell? I'm going to pick it up this week and I'll have more specifics but both blocks and pistons are trashed.

Is there anyone out there selling good rebuilds? I"m scared to buy engines off ebay - there's always a reason an engine gets pulled out of a seadoo.

Seems like the labor is the most expensive thing. Anyone know a good mechanic in the missouri/nebraska/kansas/iowa area?

thanks

if you need to go that route...mechanic, than I suggest going thru SBT. No offense, but with this site, you'll be able to pull the motors and the parts off of them, to send out, verses, using a mechanic, the price for labor, then him sending out/rebuilding them...NO WAY. 1800 buks thru SBT with 1yr warr. on both.

:agree:

go SBT. Dont forget to do get carb kits for both engines and get the shop manual. If you need one let me know.
