Need to remove starter...'96 Speedster

Help! One of my starters has to come out. Bad bendix, apparently. Got the exhaust out of the way, but how do I get to the bottom starter bolt? I can barely touch it!

Undo the front engine mount and raise front slightly to get to alen head bolt.

On '96 Speedster--Does the bottom bolt go in and out from the back, as the top one does? Can I unbolt the front motormount to get at it?

You are right, it's a 13mm hex head (not allen head) bolt that comes in from the back. Unbolting the front motor mounts will not help. If you are really having a hard time, you can remove the exhaust pipe.
